Las Vivas Wines strives to provide an accessible website for all users by adhering to the WCAG Level AA Standards. Some parts of this website are not fully accessible, including video without captions. We are actively working to increase accessibility and usability of our website.
Our last accessibility check took place June, 2024 and included alt tags, larger type, increased contrast, and slower auto playing video.

David Rothschild
FOUNDER
Children who grow up in Sonoma tend to run one of two ways – right toward the wine industry or away from it. David was the latter. His interest in farming began at UC Santa Cruz while pursuing an Environmental Studies degree with an emphasis in sustainable agriculture. After spending time growing organic produce and working for Enterprise Vineyards (Phil Coturri), David teamed up with Sonoma Mountain Winery (Dan Marioni) and began farming 5 acres of grapes in 2019. Los Paisanos Vineyard Management now farms 65 acres of grapes, 5 acres of olives, and harvests for approximately 15 different wineries. In 2022, he introduced Las Vivas as a way to showcase the potential of wine and olive oil produced from exceptional sites farmed with intention, mindfulness and in harmony with nature.
